The NCC cadets performed yoga asanas with remarkable skill and precision.
Members of the Student Council played an active role in the successful conduct of the event. Head Boy Jasmeet Singh and Head Girl Umang Sharma assisted in the smooth conduct of the programme and encouraged fellow students to embrace the importance of yoga and overall well-being.
The event was graced by the presence of the School President, Dr. Ashish Tandon, Dr. Misha Tandon, Chairman Dr. Sarav Mohan Tandon, and CEO Mr. Mohit Shinde. Addressing the gathering, they highlighted yoga as an invaluable gift of Indian culture and encouraged everyone to make it an integral part of their daily lives.
The yoga session was conducted by Sports Teacher Mr. Ashwani Kumar Sandhu, who guided the participants through various yoga asanas, pranayama, and meditation practices. He also explained the physical, mental, and emotional benefits of regular yoga practice. Students and other participants performed the exercises with great enthusiasm, discipline, and concentration.
The successful organisation of the event was made possible through the dedicated efforts of Mr. Raman Kumar, Mr. Sahil, Ms. Kamaljeet, Ms. Shivprabha, Ms. Neeru Bala, Ms. Rajni, Ms. Priya, Ms. Mandeep, and Ms. Richa Sharma.
Members of Bharat Vikas Parishad, including President Mr. Rajinder Prasad, Mr. Rakesh Chodha (Councillor), Mr. Arun Sharma, Mr. Harvinder Singh Bansal, Mr. Raju (Councillor), and Mr. Joginder Pal (Councillor), extended their support by distributing refreshments to all participants. The programme concluded on a vibrant note with an energetic Bhangra performance by the team led by Mr. Kamal Bhatia of Dhol-Taal Sabhyacharak Sath Club, adding a cultural flavour to the celebration.
The event concluded with a collective pledge to adopt yoga regularly for a healthy body, a balanced mind, and a harmonious life.
