Emm Aar International School Celebrated Baisakhi with Joy and Enthusiasm

Adampur, April 13,2026 (The Hind Canadian Times) : Emm Aar International School celebrated the festival of Baisakhi with great enthusiasm and cultural fervour on its campus. On this occasion, the school also paid tribute to the birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, acknowledging his immense contribution to the nation.The event was graced by the esteemed presence of the President of the school, Dr. Ashish Tandon and Principal Mr. Rajinder Kumar.

The celebration commenced with informative speeches on the significance of Baisakhi delivered by students in both English and Punjabi, highlighting the cultural and historical importance of the festival. The programme further showcased vibrant cultural performances, including a captivating solo folk dance reflecting the rich traditions of Punjab.

Adding to the festive spirit, a group of girls presented an energetic Bhangra performance, which was highly appreciated by the audience. The lively presentation beautifully depicted the essence of harvest celebrations and Punjabi culture.

The event was efficiently coordinated under the guidance of the House Master of Rattan House, Mrs. Ekta Vohra. The vibrant decorations were thoughtfully designed and managed by Satbir Mam, Art and Craft Teacher. The event was further supported by the dedicated efforts of Mrs. Mandeep Kaur, Mrs. Pallavi Chandel, and Mr. Ashwani Kumar.

The celebration also witnessed the active involvement of the Principal of Emm Aar Little Hearts, Ms. Vasu Kalra, along with teachers Gurpreet Kaur, Arti Arya, Bandana Katiyar, and Sonia. The programme concluded with an inspiring address by Dr. Ashish Tandon, who appreciated the efforts of the students and staff. He emphasized the importance of preserving cultural heritage and encouraged students to draw inspiration from the ideals of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar while striving for excellence.
