HMV hosted a vibrant farewell “Parwaaz 2026”


Jalandhar, May 02,2026 (The Hind Canadian Times) : Marking a graceful culmination of the undergraduate and postgraduate journey, Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar, hosted “Parwaaz 2026”, a farewell celebration that beautifully blended joy, nostalgia, and aspiration. The campus resonated with warmth and elegance as students came together to cherish their shared memories, celebrate achievements, and step forward with renewed dreams and boundless hope. The programme was graced by the presence of Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla as the Chief Guest, who added grace and inspiration to the occasion. The students bid a heartfelt farewell to the outgoing students and wished them success in their future endeavours. The programme commenced with the DAV Gaan followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing knowledge and enlightenment. The students presented a series of captivating cultural performances, including dances, songs, and theatrical acts, which enthralled the audience. Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla remarked that Parwaaz is  the beginning of a new flight. HMV students, enriched with values, confidence, and knowledge, will achieve success in every sphere of life. The students will be the torchbearers of positive change in society. She also encouraged students to become financially independent and to maintain a positive outlook while moving forward in life.Dean Youth Welfare Dr. Navroop and Dean Academics Dr. Seema Marwaha, also extended their valuable support and encouragement. 

The panel of judges included Mrs. Deepshikha, Dr. Mamta, Mrs. Meenu Kohli, and Dr. Shallu Batra, who selected the winners with fairness and keen judgment.The titles were conferred as follows:Miss HMV Farewell 2026 was awarded to Sakshi Bandola, First Runner-Up to Riya, and Second Runner-Up to Srishti Bahl. Other titles included Miss Charming (Jaspreet Kaur), Miss Ethnic (Jaipreet), Miss Confident (Ragini), Miss Sparkling Smile (Mansi Rupa), Miss Elegance (Vishwakriti), Miss Style Icon (Tejinder Kaur), Miss Graceful (Dhara), and Miss Cultural Grace (Gurleen). The participants showcased remarkable confidence and talent, leaving a lasting impression on all. The programme concluded on an emotional note as the outgoing students shared their experiences and cherished memories of their time at HMV. “Parwaaz 2026” truly turned out to be a memorable celebration, marking the end of one journey and the beginning of another filled with aspirations and dreams. The event was successfully conducted under the guidance of Mrs. Kuljeet, Dr. Gagandeep, and Dr. Meenakshi Duggal.
