Surrey, April 20,2026 (The Hind Canadian Times) : The public is being asked to help the Surrey Police Service find a man who is wanted in connection with an ongoing investigation.
In the 17600 block of 58A Avenue, Surrey, a guy was accused of assaulting a female victim with a weapon on April 3, 2026, at around 8:35 am. SPS Frontline members began an investigation. The assault caused the victim to sustain minor injuries.
The BC Prosecution Service authorized a charge against the male suspect on April 4, 2026. Jason Donald Whyte, 54, is presently wanted in British Columbia for : One count of assault with a weapon in violation of Criminal Code section 267(a)
