HMV organized an educational trip to Virasat-e-Khalsa, Naina Devi Temple and Anandpur Sahib |
The visit to Virasat-e-Khalsa served as the central highlight of the trip, where students explored Punjab’s rich historical and cultural legacy through immersive multimedia exhibits, interactive displays, and visually engaging storytelling techniques. The museum experience aligned closely with the objectives of the Multimedia Club, encouraging digital learning and creative engagement with history.
At Naina Devi, students examined the site from a historical and cultural perspective, gaining insights into its long-standing significance in the regional heritage landscape, including its architectural features and its role in shaping local traditions over time.
The group also visited Anandpur Sahib, where students learned about its contribution to Punjab’s past, its cultural evolution, and its association with significant historical developments. The visit provided a broader understanding of the region’s identity and heritage. Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ekta Khosla appreciated the initiative and applauded the organizing teams, stating that such educational excursions connect classroom learning with real-world experiences while promoting holistic student development through the integration of heritage, culture, and technology. The trip was conducted under the guidance of Mr. Ashish Chadha, Mrs. Protima Mander, Dr. Baljinder Singh and Ms. Heena Dhir, whose support and mentorship ensured the success of the programme.
