Jalandhar Jan 29,2026 (The Hind Canadian Times) : HMV Collegiate School is going to organise Achievers’ Day on 30th January under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla and School Co-coordinator Mrs. Arvinder Kaur to honour students who have excelled in academics, co-curricular activities, and sports. The event aims to recognise hard work, dedication, and all-round excellence, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to holistic education. Coordinator Dr. Seema Marwaha told that during the ceremony, 21 trophies will be awarded to students for securing positions and more than 90% marks in the Board Examinations, while 9 trophies will be conferred upon students for achieving positions in the SSC-I examinations. Outstanding performances in extra co-curricular activities will also be acknowledged, with 24 medals awarded to SSC-II students and 16 medals to SSC-I students. In the field of sports, 13 medals for SSC-II and 19 medals for SSC-I students will be presented, celebrating discipline, teamwork, and sporting spirit. Special accolades include two trophies for “Pride of HMV”, along with the prestigious titles of Student of the Year and Player of the Year, recognising exemplary achievement and leadership. The programme will be graced by Dr. Harmohinder Singh Bedi, Chancellor, Central University of Himachal Pradesh, as the Chief Guest, while Sh. Surendra Seth, eminent philanthropist and Member of the Local Advisory Committee, will be the Guest of Honour.
