Emm Aar International School Celebrates World Environment Day

Adampur, June 05, 2025 (The Hind Canadian Times) : Emm Aar International School, Adampur, marked the twin observances of Yoga Day and World Environment Day with great zeal and participation from students, teachers, parents, NCC cadets, and Student Council members.

In accordance with the directions of 1 Pb Air Sqn NCC, Jalandhar, the day began with a Yoga session held on the school premises from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. The session aimed to promote physical well-being, mental clarity, and mindfulness. NCC cadets, along with students and faculty, actively participated, reinforcing the importance of a healthy lifestyle.

To commemorate World Environment Day, the school organized an awareness rally at the Clock Tower, Adampur, on the same day. The rally was held to spread awareness about environmental conservation and sustainable living. Students carried banners and placards bearing slogans related to environmental protection, cleanliness, and climate responsibility, engaging the local community with their powerful messages.

As part of its green initiative, the school also distributed eco-friendly earthen pots free of cost to the citizens of Adampur, encouraging them to adopt environmentally responsible habits in their daily lives.

The event was graced by the presence of dedicated staff members including Mrs. Kamaljeet, Ms. Palvi, Ms. Richa, NCC ANO Mr. Ashwini Kumar, Mr. Gurcharan, Mr. Raman, and Mr. Satish, who ensured the successful execution of both activities.

The events were graced by the esteemed presence of Dr. Sarav Mohan Tandon(Chairman), Dr. Ashish Tandon (President), Mr. Rajinder Kumar (Principal), and Mr. Mohit Shinde (CEO), who appreciated the efforts of the participants and motivated them to continue contributing to society through such meaningful initiatives.

Special thanks were extended to Shri Vivek Kumar Modi, IAS (Sub Divisional Magistrate, Adampur), for his support and encouragement. In his absence, he deputed Naib Tehsildar Shri Harinderjeet Singh to represent the administration, whose presence was greatly appreciated.

The school has consistently undertaken such initiatives in the past and remains committed to continuing its efforts toward promoting community well-being and environmental responsibility in the future as well.
