Pilgrims from India will come to Pakistan on a ten-day pilgrimage to religious places on the occasion of Vaisakhi.

Lahore, 05 April 2025 (The Hind Canadian Times) : Sikh pilgrims are coming to Pakistan the occasion of Vaisakhi .Addition secretary shrines  Mr. Khokhar will welcome them. It might be possible that Minister for minorities S. Ramesh Singh Arora will also be present on this occasion as president of Sikh Gurudwara Prabandhak committee.

According to the Nehru-Liaquat Pact, it has a capacity of 3000. It is estimated that the Pakistan government will issue visas to about 2800 people on the recommendation of the SGPC. In this way, Sikhs from all over the world will participate on this occasion. Minority Affairs Minister Ramesh Singh Arora said that Saifullah Khokhar, Additional Secretary, will welcome the devotees. All arrangements have been completed in this regard and instructions have been given that they should bring dollars instead of Indian currency. Transport security and food arrangements have also been completed.

The pilgrims will enter India on foot through the Bagha border and reach the birthplace of Gurdwara Nankana Sahib. For the next three days, they will visit Nankana Sahib and other Gurdwaras. After this, the pilgrims will reach Hassan Abdal and stay overnight at Gurdwara Panja Sahib. On Sunday, April 13, the pilgrims will visit Gurdwara Panja Sahib and also visit the place of Baba Bali Kandhari. On April 14, the main event will be held at Gurdwara Panja Sahib, where the Akhand Path Sahib, held to celebrate the day of the establishment of the Khalsa Panth, will be performed. The next day, the pilgrims will reach Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur for darshan and will stay overnight there. On April 16, the pilgrims will stay at Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur Narowal on Wednesday. On April 17, they will leave for Lahore and there they will visit Gurdwara Rori Sahib, Eminabad, Gujranwala and stay overnight at Gurdwara Dera Sahib, Lahore. On April 18, they will stay at Gurdwara Dera Sahib, Lahore and on April 19, Saturday They will leave for India via the Baga border today.
