The ceremony will be attended by Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, while a large number of federal and provincial ministers, people from interfaith communities and Sikh pilgrims will participate in the ceremony.
Sikh pilgrims who came to Pakistan expressed their satisfaction over the steps taken for hospitality and thanked the government of Pakistan. Ravinder Singh Sarna, the leader of the Shiromani Guru Durara Parbandhak Committee who came from India, while expressing his gratitude on the occasion of his visit to Pakistan, said that we are extremely grateful to the government of Pakistan and the Trust Board administration for providing accommodation, medical and best travel facilities to Sikh pilgrims coming from all over the world including India. Gurmeet Singh, who came from India along with Jhata, said that the administration has made the best arrangements for the pilgrims in the Gurudwaras. Guru Dwara Janm Asthan Nankana Sahib was decorated with colorful beautiful lights. The district administration made strict security arrangements around the Gurudwara. On April 15, the group of Sikh pilgrims coming from Gurudwara Panja Sahib Hassan Abdal to Nankana will leave for Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur, while the other group will leave for Hassan Abdal for the pilgrimage to Gurdwara Panja Sahib, where after a one-day stay, both groups of Sikh pilgrims will reach Gurdwara Dera Sahib, Lahore on April 17.
