Says, new parks, community hall, and road projects will give major push to infrastructure

Accompanied by Mayor Vineet Dhir, the Minister said that the Punjab Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, has initiated several development works across the state to accelerate urban growth and improve public amenities. He asserted that there is no shortage of funds for development activities and added that many new projects would soon be launched to enhance the quality of life for residents.
During his visit, Mr. Bhagat inspected the Bhargo Camp area, where he took stock of the construction of a community hall and an adjoining park. He also reviewed the progress of four new parks being developed along the 120-foot road and instructed officials of the Jalandhar Municipal Corporation to complete the works within the stipulated timeframe.
The Minister further examined the renovation work at Satguru Kabir Mandir and said such initiatives would significantly improve the city’s aesthetic appeal while providing better recreational spaces and facilities for the public. Senior officials of the Municipal Corporation accompanied the Minister during the inspection.
