Cabinet Minister lays foundation stone for renovation work of Community Hall at a cost of ₹42 lakh


Jalandhar, October 5: (The Hind Canadian Times) : The horticulture, Freedom Fighters, and Defence Services Welfare Minister Mohinder Bhagat, today laid the foundation stone for the renovation work of the Community Hall located at Satguru Kabir Bhawan, Basti Sheikh, on 120 Feet Road.

The project, costing ₹42 lakh, includes the construction of a new boundary wall and bathrooms. Mayor Vineet Dhir was also present on this occasion.

Addressing the gathering, the Cabinet Minister said that the project would be completed within six months.

Reiterating the Punjab Government’s commitment to the welfare and development of every section of society, Mr. Bhagat said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, development works are being carried out across the state in a well-planned manner. He added that the State Government is continuously striving to make Punjab a developed and prosperous state.

On this occasion, the Cabinet Minister also inspired people to follow the path of universal brotherhood shown by Bhagat Kabir Ji and emphasized the need to further strengthen the spirit of mutual love and harmony among all communities.

Office-bearers of the Satguru Kabir Bhawan Welfare Society were also present on this occasion.
