These species are known for their valuable qualities. Each officer adopting a plant will maintain a booklet provided by Mr. Nirbhau Singh Gill, District & Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Jalandhar. The booklet will record the name of the tree and the date of adoption, and in case of transfer, the booklet will be handed over to the successor officers.
The plantation drive at Government Model Co-Education Senior Secondary School, Ladowali Road, Jalandhar, and Government Model Senior Secondary School, School of Eminence, Ladowali Road, Jalandhar, was led by Rajeev K. Beri, Incharge District & Sessions Judge, Jalandhar.
