Distribution of cheques to Eden victims continued for the second day at NAB Lahore office; DG NAB Lahore personally handed over the cheques to the victims...


LAHORE: Director General NAB Lahore, Muhammad Ehtar Dar, supervised the process of distributing cheques to Eden victims on his holiday and personally distributed cheques to several victims. According to details, as per the instructions of Chairman NAB, cheques worth Rs 1.16 billion are being distributed to 11,000 victims of Eden scandal before Eid, for which additional staff has been deployed in NAB Lahore office, which has further improved service delivery and made it possible to distribute cheques without delay.

On this occasion, DG NAB Lahore personally supervised the entire process of distributing checks and issued appropriate instructions on the spot and said that for the convenience of all the victims, a shuttle service is being provided to them and in view of the further convenience of the victims, the victims will not need to wait for the NAB letter nor will they have to submit stamp paper. Under the new system, all Eden victims will be able to receive their checks at NAB without receiving a letter.

Taking advantage of the aforementioned facilities, hundreds of victims reached the NAB Lahore bureau to receive the checks and benefited from the facilities provided by NAB.

On this occasion, Eden victims expressed their gratitude for the efforts of NAB Lahore and expressed their best wishes for the Chairman NAB and DG NAB Lahore and appreciated the overall efforts of NAB Lahore under the leadership of the current leadership for the recovery from the accused and the honorable distribution of funds among the victims.

A citizen affected by the Eden scandal expressed happiness over the recovery of the sunken money on the joyous occasion of Eid, saying that NAB's timely action will increase the joy of Eid for the affected citizens.
