Lahore, 14 March 2025 (The Hind Canadian Times) : The Hindu community across Pakistan celebrated their religious festival Holi with traditional fervor. The Holi ceremony was organized at the Krishna Temple in Lahore under the management of the Muttuka Waqf Property Board.
During the Holi function, the guests were treated to sweets and prasad, Additional Secretary of Shrines Abandoned Property Board Saifullah Khokhar also cut a cake in honor of the Hindu leaders, along with Deputy Secretary Umar Javed Awan. A large number of people from different religions participated in the function. On the occasion of Holi, while pujas and functions were organized in temples across the country, Hindu families decorated their homes with electric lamps, especially the Krishna temple on the occasion of Holi, for national security and prosperity. While extraordinary security arrangements were made with the cooperation of the district administration and police.
