25 Jan 2025 ,Toba Tek Singh (Ali Imran Chattha) : Under the Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif's "Dhi Rani Program," a grand mass wedding ceremony for 29 couples was held in Toba Tek Singh. The event, organized at the city’s largest private marquee, saw the special participation of Provincial Minister for Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Mal, Sohail Shaukat Butt. Among the notable attendees were MNA Chaudhry Junaid Anwar, MPA Chaudhry Amjad Ali Javed, Secretary Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Mal Punjab Javed Akhtar Mahmood, Director General Social Welfare Sikandar Zeeshan, Commissioner Faisalabad Maryam Khan, Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Naeem Sindhu, DPO Ibadat Nisar, and other officials and PML-N leaders.

Addressing the event, Sohail Shaukat Butt said that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif is playing the role of a compassionate mother for Punjab’s daughters and taking practical steps toward establishing a welfare state. MNA Junaid Anwar lauded the Dhi Rani Program, calling it a testament to the Chief Minister’s commitment to women’s welfare and their brighter future. The initiative received widespread appreciation from the public, who praised the Chief Minister for alleviating the financial burden on underprivileged families through such mass wedding ceremonies.
